Security Guards Health Insurance Scheme

The Government in collaboration with Guardian Life Limited has initiated a health scheme for all private security guards.

Types of Plans

The plan is divided into five options which can be accessed based on the preference of the individual. The premiums are paid in four quarters during the year and is due the 15th of March, June, September and December.

How to enrol:

• Fill out an application form which is available on the Private Security Regulation Authority’s website – psra.gov.jm
• Make the first quarter payment for the option chosen.
• Deposit payment at any Bank of Nova Scotia a/c number 911960 or pay at the offices of the Private Security Regulation Authority.
• After payment is made, scan the receipt and email to info@psra.gov.jm or photograph and send by WhatsApp Messenger to (876) 485-8320.

For payments that are made by March 15, 2017, no medical will be required and quarterly payments can be made in instalments. Registration is ongoing and the deadline for payment of the first quarter must be received by March 15, 2017.
