Education Minister, Hon. Rev. “It’s important that we use this tragedy to see how we can improve arrangements for our students…we must offer particular training in safety and in many other aspects to the drivers and conductors,” he stated.

The Minister made the comment as he offered his condolences to the family and friends of the students, who were killed in the accident, which occurred in Chudleigh, Manchester. The fatal accident was said to have been caused by reckless driving.

“The regional officers have been on the spot, providing aid and assistance and counselling, and they will continue, both with the families affected and the whole school,” he informed.
