“I am proud of what these young boys have achieved.  They dreamed of playing in the World Cup, they put in the work and now they have qualified for Mexico 2011.  They have shown what our young people can achieve with the right support.

“I wish to congratulate each member of the team, including the coaches and the administrators at the JFF on this achievement.  But this is just the beginning.  We have expectations of the Jamaican team at the World Cup and I know with the continued support of the coaches, parents, friends, fans and the Government that they will do well."
