Governor-General to Speak at Banquet in South Florida

Governor-General, His Excellency the Most Hon. Sir Howard Cooke, will travel to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in the United States from April 16 to 20. Sir Howard has been invited to be the keynote speaker at the annual banquet of the Mico Alumni Association of South Florida, to be held on Saturday, April 17 at the Inverrary Country Club in Lauderhill, South Florida.
During his absence, the Very Rev. Canon Weeville Gordon, Custos of Kingston, will serve as Deputy Governor-General.
The Governor-General, who returns on April 20, will be accompanied by his Aide-de-Camp, Captain Mahatma Williams.
