Entities in the parish of Clarendon, which have not yet registered as businesses, will have an opportunity to do so from January 25 to 26. This will be facilitated by the Companies Office of Jamaica (COJ) mobile team, which will be on hand to process their applications at the Inland Revenue Centre in May Pen. Speaking to JIS News, COJ outreach officer, Keith Andrade encouraged business persons in Clarendon to make use of the opportunity.
“We begin at 10:00 a.m. on both days. Our team will be there not only to process documents but also to answer any questions that they may have, in a very comfortable setting,” he said.
Mr. Andrade also noted that the visit was also to facilitate the submission of outstanding company documents as well as renewals.
“For existing businesses, remember to present your company’s TRN certificate and company officers TRN cards when filing. Forms can be purchased at the venue or by visiting our website at,” the Outreach Officer said.
