Andrew Holness (right), is warmly greeted by Eden Gardens Group of Companies Executive Chairman, Dr. Henry Lowe, on arrival at the Eden Gardens Wellness Resort and Spa in St. Andrew on Wednesday, July 12, for a ceremony to announce the United States Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) designation of Orphan Drug Status for ‘Chrysoeriol’. The drug, derived from cannabis, was developed by the United States-based Flavocure Biotech LLC (FBL), to treat acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). Flavocure Biotech LLC is owned and operated by the Eden Gardens Group.
