Caribbean Food Delights to Franchise its Operations

Caribbean Food Delights, a Jamaican-owned company based in New York, will start franchising its restaurants under the JerkQzine name this summer.Founder and Chief Executive Officer Vincent Hosang, told an audience of prospective owner/operators at the Rye Town Hilton Hotel in New York last week, that the product line would offer customers “a vacation from ordinary food”.
“I am very excited about our JerkQzine franchise opportunity, which will carry products from our well known Royal Caribbean Bakery and Caribbean Food Delights and I look forward to welcoming you on board,” Mr. Hosang said.
Consul General of Jamaica, Dr. Basil K. Bryan who welcomed the patrons to the introduction seminar, lauded Mr. Hosang for his outstanding work in the Caribbean community and encouraged those present not to miss out on the opportunity to become a part of one of the most successful Jamaican-owned companies in North America.
Caribbean Food Delights is an affiliate of Royal Caribbean Bakery, offering a full menu of Jamaican foods, including beef and jerk chicken patties, as well as whole jerk chicken and jerk chicken wings. In addition to the regular products, JerkQzine will also roll out such delicacies as jerk sausage and fish fillet.
Hosang’s daughter, Sabrina was named Director of Operations and Alan J. Bernstein, Franchise Director.
Established as a ‘Mom & Pop’ corner store 27 years ago in the Bronx, New York, Royal Caribbean Bakery/Caribbean Food Delights is listed among the top three patty-manufacturing companies in the United States.
