Cabinet Awards $15 Million Contract for Construction of Sewers

Cabinet yesterday (July 2) awarded a contract valued at $15 million to D. Bisasor and Associates Limited for the construction of collector sewers at Lady Musgrave Road in Kingston.
“This is really to ensure that the sewer facilities in that area has the capacity to meet the extraordinary levels of development that have been taking place in that particular section of the corporate area,” Information and Development Minister, Donald Buchanan, stated at the weekly post-Cabinet press briefing held at Jamaica House.
According to the Minister, works to be carried out include the “complete construction of .sewer pipes with numerous sewer manholes and road laterals along Lady Musgrave Road/ Upper Lady Musgrave/ Argyle Road/ Musgrave Avenue/ running from the intersection at Argyle Road/ Fairway Avenue to the traffic lights at Trafalgar Road”.
