The Information Minister noted that Mr. Matalon has given distinguished and exemplary service to the people of Jamaica through his work at the National Gallery over many years.
“He has donated to the collection, some 220 pieces of priceless works of art and this has helped to enhance the access of both Jamaicans and persons from overseas, to the quality and range of Jamaican art,” he informed.
