New Boards have been appointed for the Jamaica Mortgage Bank, the National Water Commission and the Planning Institute of Jamaica, as approved by the Cabinet.
Details of the new appointments were given by Minister with responsibility for Information, Telecommunications and Special Projects, Hon. Daryl Vaz, at a post-Cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House, on December 1.
For the Jamaica Mortgage Bank, the Board members have been appointed for a period of three years, with effect from November 22. They are:
Mr. George Thomas – ChairmanMrs. Tina Myers-MatalonMs. Marlene VirgoMr. Ossie ClarkeMr. Elroy FlowersMrs. Authurine Scarlett – ex officioMs. Carlene O’Connor – ex officio
At the National Water Commission, the Board members have been appointed for a period of two years with effect from November 22. They are:
Mr. David Chung – ChairmanMr. Mark MyersMr. Ransford BrahamMr. Baron StewartMs. Rose PillinerMr. Dane MarshDr. Aston Bowers Mr. Wayne JonesMr. Lennox Wallace – ex officio
For the Planning Institute of Jamaica, the Board members have been appointed for a period of three years, with effect from November 22. They are:
