Cabinet Approves $600 Million Contract for Perth Housing Development

Cabinet has approved a contract valued at $606,807,345, to Bill Wright Construction Company Limited, to undertake civil infrastructure works at Perth Housing Development phase one in Manchester.
Minister with responsibility for Information, Telecommunications and Special Projects, Hon. Daryl Vaz, made the disclosure during the weekly post Cabinet press briefing held on Wednesday (April 21) at Jamaica House.
The Information Minister informed that the National Housing Trust (NHT) intends to develop 1,673 housing solutions on 592 acres of land at Perth in three phases.
“Phase one, which is now being developed, consists of 605 solutions, 259 service lots and nine cluster sites comprising 346 two and three-bedroom town houses and detached units,” he informed.
