UNWTO, GOVERNMENT OF JAMAICA, WORLD BANK AND INTER-AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON JOBS AND INCLUSIVE GROWTH: PARTNERSHIPS FOR SUSTAINABLE TOURISM


Accreditation is required for all members of the media who wish to cover the UNWTO Conference.

Media Accreditation is strictly reserved for media professionals (print, photo, radio, television, film, news agencies and online media) who represent a bona fide media organisation. Press passes issued at previous UNWTO meetings are not valid.

The Jamaica Information Service (JIS) is the communications agency of the Government of Jamaica. JIS accreditation is the first step to obtain registration for the conference.
The accreditation system is now open. The deadline for applications is Friday, November 17, 2017.


Second step to obtain registration for the conference

  1. First you can either:
      1. Complete the JIS Media Accreditation Form, complete and return by November 17, with one passport-size photograph to:
        • Ms Judith Hunter, Jamaica Information Service, 58a Half-Way-Tree Road, Kingston 10
        • E-mail: jhunter@jis.gov.jm
        • Upload through JIS website (plus scanned image of passport photo)
      2. Or complete our The JIS Online Accreditation from
  2. You will receive a confirmation email from JIS.

Second step to obtain registration for the conference

  1. Complete the UNWTO registration process at https://globaltourismconferenceja.com or http://affiliatemembers.unwto.org. This registration can be done at the same time as for JIS.
  2. Once request is approved, UNWTO will send confirmation to email address on file in online account.
  3. Collect media pass either at:
    1. The Jamaica Information Service,
      58a Half-Way-Tree Road,
      Kingston 10
    2. Media Secretariat Room,
      Montego Bay Convention Centre,
      Rose Mount Cres, Montego Bay
    NOTE: Media passes must me collected on Sunday, November 26, 3.00 – 5.00 pm, or Monday, November 27 – Wednesday, November 29, 8.00 am – 7 pm
