Senior Director in the Ministry of Local Government and Community Development, Robert Hill, is to take up the post of Town Clerk in early March.

He will replace Errol Greene, who has been seconded to the St. Thomas Parish Council.

Mayor of Kingston, Senator Angela Brown Burke, who made the disclosure at the monthly Kingston and St. Andrew Corporation (KSAC) meeting on February 11 at Council’s chambers, Church Street, downtown Kingston, extended congratulations to Mr. Hill on his appointment.

She informed that Andrinne McLaren is currently acting in the position of Town Clerk.

Mr. Greene took up duties as Secretary Manager of the St. Thomas Parish Council last week and will serve for a year before going on pre-retirement leave.

Mr. Greene joined the KSAC on March 4, 1999.
