Director of Marine Wharves at the Jamaica Customs Agency Kevin Carter is appealing to customers to make truthful declarations when seeking to clear  goods at the ports. This in order to avoid penalties under the Customs Act Mr. Carter who was speaking in a recent interview with Ian Boyne, notes that a truthful declaration will help to speed up the processing time for the clearance of goods, especially during the Christmas season.
