Ministry Of Information

The Government continues to make steady strides in the field of Information, working to ensure that Jamaicans not only have access to relevant information affecting their daily lives, but in formats conducive to national growth and development.

Over 25 Bills approved in the Lower House, several other pieces of legislation tabled and Sign Language Interpretation Programme implemented. These are just some of the major achievements in Parliament, during the year 2014.

Jamaicans continue to benefit from the provision of quality health care services, through improvements to facilities, as well as the systems and processes governing the sector. This is in addition to the Health Ministry’s promotion of healthy lifestyles, and the control and reduction of Non-Communicable Diseases NCDs.
