Climate change continues to impact key sectors in Jamaica. Chief among these is the Agricultural Sector. With the variations in rainfall, particularly extended dry spells, crops and livestock continue to be affected. In light of this, the Government of Jamaica through the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, has adopted a proactive approach to the reality of persistent dry spells a feature of climate change
