Many consumers are still unaware that the Consumer Protection Act is one of the critical laws that should guide their actions when making a purchase. The act provides for the promotion and protection of consumer interest, in relation to the supply of goods and the provision of services in order to ensure protection of life, health and safety of consumers and others.
