The Bureau of Standards Jamaica, BSJ is on a mission to resuscitate the island’s bamboo industry which has the potential to contribute to economic growth and generate employment,The BIA is part of collaborations between the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce and private sector stakeholders, to engage and heighten awareness among owners of properties with bamboo, about the potential economic values to be derived from the plant.
