The European Union (EU) through the 10th European Development Fund (EDF) and the Government of Jamaica (GoJ) jointly funds the Poverty Reduction Programme (PRP). The Jamaica Social Investment Fund (JSIF) is the implementing agency for the PRP. The PRP will improve the living conditions of the poor by providing access to quality basic infrastructure and services. The Government of Jamaica intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to cover payments under the following contracts:
Bid No. (6128): REGENT STREET S.D.A BASIC SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION – KINGSTON.
The work involves but is not limited to the construction of a seven classroom block, kitchen and eating area, sick bay, sanitary conveniences, principal’s office and a storage area. Construction period is four (4) months.
Bid No. (6126): CALABAR INFANT PRIMARY & JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUMÂ & MULTI-PURPOSE COURT CONSTRUCTION- KINGSTON.
The scope of work involves but is not limited the building of a multipurpose auditorium and a multi-purpose hard court. Construction period is four (4) months.
Bid No. (6127): FRANKLYN TOWN SPORTS COMPLEX UPGRADING – PT2 – KINGSTON.
The scope of work involves but is not limited to the construction of a football field and a multi-purpose court, the construction of fencing around the football field, the rehabilitation of the existing bathroom and the construction of a changing room. Construction period is four (4) months.
