The Government of Jamaica has received a loan from the International
Bank for Reconstruction and Development towards the cost of the RURAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (REDI) PROJECT, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to cover payments under the contract for the following:
1. Consultancy Firm to Provide Quality Assurance for Business Development
Scope: The selected Consultancy Firm will be required to review all the outputs of the Business Plan Development Facilitators (BDFs) and make recommendations to the REDI team on the acceptability of the outputs. The Consulting Firm will also be required to address and close gaps in the submissions. Where plans were previously developed or the business is in operation, the consulting firm will be required to identify gaps,
areas to which value can be added and opportunities to leverage and link investments within the portfolio, projects and /or activities taking place elsewhere.
