Ministry Overview

The Ministry of Finance and Public Service has overall responsibility for developing the Government’s fiscal and economic policy framework.

The ministry is also responsible for collecting and allocating public revenues and playing an important role in the socio-economic development of the country by creating a society in which each citizen has the prospect of a better quality of life.

The objectives of the ministry include the creation of an environment that will promote sustainable economic growth and to effectively manage the national budget and administer policies for the sound financial management of public funds.
