The Ministry of Tourism, Entertainment and Culture and the Jamaica Tourist Board wish to advise all tourism partners and the public that effective 8:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, the Tourism Emergency Operations Centre (TEOC) and Press Centre will be located at Boardrooms 1 & 2, Hilton Kingston Hotel, telephone numbers 926-5430 ext. 4847 and 4843 respectively. TEOC personnel may be contacted directly at 819-8238, 819-9968, and 990-8804. The TEOC will be open from 8:00 a.m. until10:00 p.m.
A Western branch of the Emergency Operations Centre will be located at the Wexford Court Hotel in Montego Bay, telephone numbers 952-2854-5. The direct contact telephone numbers for the Emergency Operations Centre in Montego Bay are 952-3637 and 322-6473. (opening hours will be the same.
