The Corporate Services Division is comprised of the Corporate Services Unit, Finance & Office Management. This Division provides strategic direction for the JIS and coordinates internal activities, policies and procedures in order to pivot the Agency towards achieving its mission and objectives. The responsibilities of this division includes, improving the corporate image of the JIS, prudent financial management, building on existing core competencies and strengthening the JIS’ competitive advantage within the media landscape. This division produces and revises vital documentation such as the JIS’ Corporate & Operating Plans, Expenditure & Revenue Budgets, Capital Budget, Procedural Manual and Citizens’ Charter. The costs incurred by the Agency are monitored by this division and prices are determined as a function of cost and market analysis, as reflected in JIS’ annual updated pricing Catalogue for products and services.
