Ex-Im Bank Offers Assistance to Clients

As its contribution to the recovery effort, in the aftermath of the devastation and disruptions caused by Hurricane Ivan, the Ex-Im Bank is offering its affected clients, on a case by case basis, a period of moratorium
Pamella McLean, Managing Director of the bank told JIS News that the sectors specifically targeted for this special assistance were Agricultural/Agro-Processing and Aqua-Culture which, from initial reports, have been the worst affected.
Mrs. McLean also noted that other sectors would be given consideration where circumstances warrant.
She said that depending on the bank’s assessment of the situation, the period of moratorium might vary on a case by case assessment.
