Ambassador Marks visits New Jersey this week-end

Jamaica’s Ambassador to the United States, Her Excellency Audrey Marks, will pay a three-day official visit to New Jersey, Friday, November 19 to Sunday, November 21.
On Friday, the Ambassador will address an investment luncheon at Rutgers University Law Center, as well as meet with academia at the Rutgers University. On Saturday, she will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural banquet and awards ceremony of the Jamaica America Bar Association, at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Edison, New Jersey.
While in New Jersey, the Jamaican envoy will pay a courtesy call on the Deputy Mayor of Highland Park, Jamaican-born Councilwoman Elsie Foster Dublin, as well as meet with various county executives, state executives, business leaders and members of the 150,000 Jamaican community in the Garden State.
Over the last three months, the Ambassador has visited Atlanta, Los Angeles, Hartford and Philadelphia, meeting with members of the various business communities, Jamaicans and potential investors. On these visits she has outlined various initiatives taken by the government to stimulate economic growth, increase trade between Jamaica and the various cities in the USA, improve investments and stem crime in the country.
